Hall continued his remarkable record in the event, remaining the only player to have lifted the title since its introduction in 2022 after securing victory over Sheehan in the final. Earlier in the tournament, Sheehan had created history by compiling a superb break of 1,087 — the highest ever recorded in a competition organised by the English Partnership for Snooker & Billiards (EPSB).
The tournament attracted a field of 30 players and was staged at the popular Landywood Snooker Club, a venue that also hosts both the World Billiards Championship and the UK Billiards Championship.
Hall made an excellent start during the group stages, recording four wins from four matches against Chris Coumbe, Martin Goodwill, Ron Bickerdike and Paul Lloyd. He then progressed to the knockout rounds with a convincing 764–158 victory over John Hughes to book his place in the quarter-finals.
Momentum continued to build for the eventual champion as he recorded further commanding wins against Darren Clark (863–253) and Robert Marshall (834–185) to reach the final. Sheehan secured his own place in the title match after producing his record-breaking contribution during the semi-final against Jonathan Marwood.
In the final, Hall’s bid for a fifth consecutive title rarely looked in danger. Producing another dominant display, he overcame Sheehan 842–285 to secure yet another memorable triumph at the Landywood Snooker Club.
